2024

This year was dominated by a residency in Fair Isle. I lived for two months in a croft and produced 36 paintings. I was captivated by the birdlife,  their flight and sound. Many pieces are on linen, as it rolled easily for travel and paints were acrylics and inks because I couldn't take oils on the little plane. 

Other pieces were coastal and centred around the St Ives coastal path. This year, I have focused on the energy of the sea, birdlife, and wilderness of Scotland.
